As I lay out in my cornfield, enjoying the delicious night sky, it suddenly cracks. A hole ripped right into the sky. As if there were a movie screen that someone just ran through. The beauty of this possibly dangerous wonder leaves me awe struck. The Clouds part for the main event. A round saucer expels from the mist. It stays amongst the clouds. No wings, no engine, no flapping, no spinning. Just... hovering. It slowly descends to the Earth, landing in my cornfield. I cry in fear, no wait, surprise perhaps.
The corn stalks rustle near by. I crouch down low and squint into the dark. An unearthly noise came from my right. And then another from only a few feet away. What on Earth I thought to myself. Or what is now on Earth. A shrill click came from my right again. They must be communicating. A grunt was made and I hear something like footsteps fade away.
I sit in a squat position trembling. Frozen in time with fright and stuck in thought. The terrors and questions enter my mind. Are they friendly? Are they hostel? Are they here to harvest the land? Are they here to harvest us?
The stalk moves behind me and before I have time to look, I am yanked by my neck dragged across the crops. I don't remember if I screamed or cried. I do know I kicked and bit and scratched. I looked up at the obscure face that peered upon me. Its large eyes completely black, not like those you think when you think "alien". More like a human eye just a bit larger with no pupil or color, just filled black. Its nose was just a horizontal slit, or was that it's mouth? It seems not to have a mouth, or maybe it has a mouth and it doesn't have a nose. I try to look a bit harder to determine if that horizontal slit was the mouth or nose when suddenly I'm struck on the back of my head.
I don't know how long it's been. Two minutes? An hour? Days? Weeks? Months? I don't recall. My tears no longer exist because my eyes have been pryed open for so long. These clips made out of an unknown material to me and possibly earth has my eyelids pulled away from each other. Do they want me to watch? I refuse to watch, but I must. I can only fade out into dreams when I am so sleep deprived . I'm wide awake now. The pain makes me so. My fingers stretch and my toes curl. Those are the only body parts of me that can move. My mouth was held open as well and my throat is harsh. No words or noises can escape this soul. I dare to look at what they're doing. I gawk upon my revealed insides. I'm open from the middle of my breast plate to my abdomen. I can see my organs all impossibly working. The thrum of my heart fills my ears. Yet again, no sound can come out of my sandpaper like throat.
A long silver prod was sticking out of my stomach area. My body flinched and the engulfed aliens all seemed to make a noise that seemed to be a gasp. They pulled down a screen and tapped at the keys on the screen which could be seen from both sides.
I look to my side and notice the tubes hooked up to my arm filling me with a metallic orange liquid. They seemed to smile at me with a mouthless profile. They released the clamps from my eyes and my lids instantly dropped. My eyelids swam in the restoring liquids. Tears streamed down my face. Mainly from my eyes regaining their juices, but partly from the joy of having my own eyelids back. How I have taken my own eyes fro granted. I did not cry because of the pain though. Not anymore anyways. I can no longer feel anything. Just sweet, numb, peaceful sleep.
A dream swept over the black screen behind my eyelids. the hazy cornfield was hard to see, but some how I knew it was a cornfield. Designs were etched throughout the crops. I could read and understand them. It was like reading an open book. As if life had no meaning. What we've done and had been doing meant nothing compared to these advanced beings. We're merely cattle to them. They are natural. They had been here longer than nature, making them more natural than nature itself. They are the original beings. Not us nor god, but them. Within the corn fields I saw the "beings" feasting on the product raised by earth. Human flesh tear from bones. We are food raised for perfection for thousands of years. They test us every now and then, like sipping the soup before you serve it making sure it's properly seasoned. It all makes sense now. I wake up in the same cold room. The aliens appear down to me. So even the abduction wasn't a dream. I sigh. A pen and notepad are shoved in my face. Am I supposed to write? I take it and here I am now. I have wrote you my whole story and what has happened. I hope that some body from Earth finds this to know about the alien invasion that is planned to harvest us. I hope we will prevail against this advance world beyond our atmosphere. This is the last thing they let me do before they take my life. World, know it to be true they are coming for you and nothing can stop them.
