A New Hope Poem

A Long Long Time Ago
In a Galaxy far far away
Before the At At and Chicken Walker
Anikan and Pedme gave birth to a young Luke Skywalker
His mother died giving birth
His father turned into Darth
He grew up with his uncle and aunt
Fight for the Alliance, they said he can't
Meanwhile up in outer space
C3P0 and R2 were the victims of a chase
Princess Leah planted secret Emperial Blue prints
To Destroy the Death Star with given hints
The droids escaped to the Planet Tatooine
Nothing more than a deserty sea
Luke followed to find Obi Wan Kanobi
The old man told him of the Jedi Ways
He returned home to find his relatives no longer living ways
To fight the Empire with Kanobi he went
An offer for a Pilot they have sent
Han Solo and Chewbacca had now join their forces
But being attacked by troops threw them off their courses
They were caught in the small moons tractor beam
but this moon wasn't as it seemed
It was a giant space station
Trying to defeat the Universal Nations
The crew snuck about to save the princess
And made it pretty far without a witness
They found her lying in her cell
and saved her, but in the trash compacter they fell
the walls came squeezing closer
And Luke's screams became hoarser
R2D2 shut down the compactor
which was a life saving factor
They made a run for the Millennium Falcon
Luke and Leah got stuck on a balcon
They swung across to the ship
and prepared for a light speed trip
But as they looked down the hall
From Darth Vader's light saber Obi took a fall
Luke screamed and was dragged aboard
They were followed by a storm trooper hoard
tie Fighters shot them with fiery blasts
But Luke and his crew wont the battle at last
The Alliance received the top secret files
To shoot the weak spot smaller than a dial
The alliance attacked the big Death Star
Lead by General Ackbar
Luke shot the hidden target
And made it out with no lives to forget
The Death Star blew up in giant blazes
Everyone cheered and gave praises
Leah madaled all the heroes
Who no longer felt like common zeros.
